The past few months have been a completely unexpected and unimaginably challenging journey for us. We’ve navigated seemingly insurmountable changes such as the sudden loss of our father and lead cutter, Larry Wayne Reyes, amidst a difficult move. Soon after, we were directly impacted by Hurricane Beryl, and most recently, we mourned the passing of my maternal grandmother. Through our grief, we've worked tirelessly to continue delivering the quality you trust and love. While my father’s passing left a void in both our hearts and our operations, it has also strengthened our commitment to move forward with resilience, love, and gratitude.

 

This Black Friday, we’re hoping to bridge a critical gap as we work to pay for the final round of our custom-milled wool. Truly Charis wool is ethically-sourced and our handmade products are made with materials and patterns carefully selected for longevity. A sale like this provides an opportunity to secure Truly Charis pieces at a reduced cost, perfect for customers, old and new, looking to invest in long-lasting essentials.

Your support during this sale will directly secure Truly Charis’ future as we move forward and restructure. We are bringing in a new, experienced seamstress in December, allowing us to fully catch up on production and to continue crafting the pieces you cherish much quicker moving forward. Every purchase you make is a step toward stability and growth as we adapt and continue to evolve.

 

As many of you know, Truly Charis fully supports our family of 8, along with providing income to our long term contract seamstress, Tonia. Please know that your outstanding orders weigh heavily on my heart and mind; we want them completed as much, if not more, than you do. As mentioned many times before, we understand that the wait has been beyond long for many of you; there were and are no hard feelings regarding order cancellations. I would have loved nothing more than to halt all orders and completely catch up, but it's not feasible for the sustainability and long term success of Truly Charis. This business was built organically, from the ground up with no investment capital. We are pushing forward every day to keep providing you with the highest quality, made-with-love clothing we can.
